The founder Mahmoud Arezki, a training mechanic, started his activity in Senegal in 1952 in inter-urban transport in Dakar and also innovated the cross-border transport of goods until becoming a public works company since 1962.

- 1952 – 1962: General transports Goods and Persons
- 1962 : Creation of the Arezki public works company headquartered in Dakar, Senegal
- 1962- 1969 : Transport and supply of building materials to the various European multi-national company based in Senegal and The Gambia
- 1970 – 1980 : Subcontractor of these same multi-national in the field in earthworks / Implantation in The Gambia.
- 1980: Beginning of double surface dressing in road
- 1990 : Beginning of execution roads in hot mix asphalt
- 1995 : Implantation in Guinéa Bissau / Acquisition of CCC infrastructure (Kuwaiti multinational in Guinea Bissau)
- 2001 : Acquisition of the shipyard of Guinea Bissau
- 2006 : Acquisition of the infrastructure of Astaldi (Italian multinational in Guinea Bissau)
- 2007 : Starting crushing of hard rock
- 2010 : Beginning of complex construction projects in urban roads
- 2013 : Opening of Arezki Gambia Branch / Acquisition of the infrastructure of Ballast Nedam Africa (Dutch multinational in The Gambia)
- 2014 : Beginning of major construction projects Roads, Airport and large bridges
- 2015 – 2020 : Almost 600 million USD of scheduled and ongoing work
